Maine’s natural beauty is only surpassed by the nature of those who live here. Some think being kinky in Maine is being alone. It was when I lived here in the 70’s. Such is no longer the case. There is friendship here. Community. Acceptance. Tolerance. A willingness to work together supporting common goals.

We have three excellent support organizations that provide community, a sense of belonging, demos, classes, events, parties, munches and the chance to relate to other people who are kinky. Some people in Maine belong to both groups. There is room for everyone here in Maine. One of the values of networking is that we create a safety network for each other, alerting our members to those who may be unsafe or predators.

Central Maine Alliance – The mission of Central Maine Alliance is to promote the safe, sane, and consensual exploration of the practices and variations in alternative lifestyles which are chosen and defined by our own individuality through outreach, education, and cooperation.
